The Red Tower
Before the Last Battle and according to prophecy, the Empress of Seanchan, via Tuon and Mat, surrendered power of the Seanchan to Rand al'Thor, the Dragon Reborn. The Seanchan fought in Tarmon Gaidin alongside both the White and Black Towers. During this process, it became known that sul'dam could be taught to channel just as damane. As a form of exile, Rand al'Thor ordered Elaida al'Roidan to take the Red Ajah to Seanchan to deal with the chaos left once the nobles of Seanchan realized that sul'dam could learn to channel.

Since Egwene reestablished Traveling, the Red Tower could come back and forth from Seanchan relatively quickly, despite the enormous distance. However, the rest of the White Tower considered them in exile, and they were not welcomed for a very long time by the majority of the Tower. As most Aes Sedai did not remember that time, more and more of both the Red and White Towers are considered reuniting the seven Ajahs once again.

Currently, the Red Tower only accepts full sisters. This is likely to change in the future. The length of historyrequired is the same as for Aes Sedai.
